Editorial policy

PandooCam is a random video chat — but it is also a site full of guides about meeting people online. This page explains who writes those guides, how we check them, and what we will never do to get a click.

Four things we hold to

Written in-house

Every guide and page on this site is written and edited by the people who build and run PandooCam. We do not accept guest posts, sponsored articles or paid placements of any kind.

Grounded in the product

When we describe how matching, voice, text or moderation works, we are describing what the product actually does — not a generic version of it. If a feature changes, the page describing it changes too.

No invented numbers

We do not publish made-up statistics, fake testimonials or star ratings we cannot stand behind. Where we show a figure, it is either measured or clearly presented as an estimate.

Plain language

We write the way we would explain something to a friend: short sentences, no jargon, no filler paragraphs written to hit a word count.

How a page gets published

Every guide on this site goes through the same five steps before and after it goes live.

  1. Draft

A page starts from a real question people ask — how something works, whether something is safe, what to say in a first conversation.

  2. Fact-check against the product

Anything we claim about PandooCam is checked against the live product. If we cannot verify it, it does not ship.

  3. Edit for clarity

A second pass strips anything that does not help the reader — repetition, hedging, padding.

  4. Publish

The page goes live and enters our sitemap so it can be found.

  5. Revisit

We re-read published pages when the product changes, when guidance goes stale, or when a reader tells us something is wrong.

Found something wrong? Tell us

We would rather be corrected than be confidently wrong. If a page here contradicts what the product actually does, is out of date, or is simply unclear — email [email protected] with the page address and what looks off.

What happens next: we check the claim against the live product, fix the page if you are right, and reply to tell you what changed. Substantive corrections are made in place rather than quietly deleted.

What we will not do

Short list, no exceptions.

  • Publish statistics, reviews or testimonials we invented
  • Take payment to recommend or rank another service
  • Attack or misrepresent another company by name
  • Present opinion as legal, medical or financial advice
  • Write pages whose only purpose is to rank, with nothing useful to read
